Practicing Hot Ra at home is the best way to become comfortable with the postures and sequence of the hot yoga set series, while focusing on building internal heat. The instructor will encourage students to hold each posture for 30-60 seconds, and explain the benefits and proper alignment for every level, beginner to advanced. This class is typically taught at 105 degrees, so feel free to practice next to a space heater, outside in the sun, or even next to a hot steamy shower. This sequence is designed to stimulate digestion, while massaging both the organs and lymphatic system. Optional Props: No props needed for this class, but make sure to grab a towel and some water if you are practicing in a warm space.
